IT Network Administrator Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory.
- Configure and maintain VPNs and network security.
- Perform system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Apply security patches and firmware updates.
- Document network infrastructure and procedures.
- Support users with network-related issues.
Common Skills:
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, etc.).
- Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Active Directory and Group Policy.
- VMware or Hyper-V virtualization.
- Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
- Network monitoring tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios).
- PowerShell or Bash scripting.

Clearance:

Background Check:
