Traffic Inspection: Monitor and adjust policies for east-west and north-south traffic.

Access Control: Oversee segmented security architectures to safeguard data.

Router & Core Network Operations:

Protocol Maintenance: Manage routing protocols, failover capabilities, and traffic paths.

Network Stability: Maintain dynamic routing environments, including OSPF and BGP configurations.

Hardware Oversight: Conduct routine checks and minor adjustments on core routing hardware.

Switching Infrastructure:

Fabric Management: Maintenance of the Cisco Catalyst switch fabric.

VLAN Segmentation: Administer VLAN configurations to ensure capacity and reliability.
Traffic Prioritization: Maintain QoS policies to prioritize critical emergency and VoIP services.

Wireless Networking:

Environment Monitoring: Manage Wi-Fi infrastructure for secure staff and public access segments.

Controller Administration: Provide oversight of controller-based wireless management and analytics.

Coverage Optimization: Identify coverage gaps during routine operations across municipal buildings.

IoT Integration & Monitoring:

Segment Maintenance: Administer secure IoT network segments using isolated VLANs and micro-segmentation.

Telemetry Oversight: Monitor IoT telemetry data for public safety and environmental sensors.
